Lets talk about new vehicles

I have it on my Mustang. Looks fairly dark green in average light but it does literally erupt in bright sunlight. Fantastic color, I received countless compliments from strangers on it. It’s well named.

I’ve been careful with it as my initial impression is it will be hard to correctly match.

I stand corrected. It makes much more sense now.

Mitsubishi dealer free maintenance coming up. I did all the maintenance so far but if I don't take it this .
month I lose my 3 yr maintenance.

Those are the rules...all it is is oil changes, cabin filter, and rotations but not wanting to go 🤔
Slip the kid a $20. Tell the kid to drive it in back for a while and don’t touch anything - you can both call it good.

Mitsubishi to the rescue today

Yeah I know....
I'd like to take a look when the new 2026 Outlander comes to my local dealer.
New 1.5T mouse motor with mild hybrid. Not sure that's the way to go but I'd like to take one for a spin especially since they are talking near 40 mpgs as I always blow the EPA figures out of the water.

It may be a good match for the Atlas??? This is not the Sport but the Outlander and for me no 20" wheels

Mitsubishi claims it gets off the line quicker with more torque than the Nissan engine.

Is it a new 1.5T, or the one that has been around for a while?

That's pure hearsay. Name two-three failure modes.

Here's Why the Honda L15 Turbo Engine is a FAILURE

There are plenty of other videos about this engine as well. Honda also put cooling slits in the block like Ford and Stellantis did to make their head gaskets less reliable. I think Honda fixed that for 2022, where as Ford did by 2019. So it yours is 2022 or newer it might be OK, or at least not have head gasket issues.

Plus Honda likes to use CVT's in a lot if it's vehicles, and that really doesn't belong in an Accord or a CR-V (and still bad in a Civic, but obviously less bad).

I like the newer Civic Hatchback, but wonder how bad the CVT is.

Sure.

Failure rates very low/nonexistent

We have a 2017.

The Honda CVT is very reliable. Not really relevant to the discussion anyway

You seem to be reaching. This generation of CR-V is quite reliable overall

There are Civics on YT with original turbo and engine with 800k miles. The transmission was a manual.
I have had several cvt Hondas without issues...

This guy is at 800k miles and the video below was when he was well over 600k

I'd argue many cvts outlast conventional transmissions like GMs...I speak from experience
Most of ours died in the 70k range in our fleet
