Lets talk about new vehicles

Audi’s are fantastic. Nearly bought an A4 in 2018. Nearly a perfect car. It came down to a lightly used Audi versus a new Passat GT, in the end the new car charm and warranty on the VW won out.

VW has tried an upscale entry a few times in the US and they all flopped. In the case of the Arteon, advertising was nonexistent. I never understood that, great car.

Differences of the 24 and 25 Maverick....I do like the bigger tablet especially for GPS... however you will pay more and the Hybrid used to be standard...I think it changed last year to a $1750 option....still a cheap ride in the lower trims

A sad affair.....I was at Wendy's today...got my money's worth as I'm still fighting it.....

I saw @TiGeo in front of me and as he looked in his rear view mirror I heard him tell his wife loudly to duck as Zee09 was behind him.....

He got his food and burned out of there....

I don't get it and I find the original far better looking in all colors.
I don't think any maker has ever designed a front end like that...why??????

It appears I was right about the cvt in the sport recalibrated for highway and Interstate driving where the older models were a bit asthmatic at higher speeds.
With only 148 hp from the naturally aspirated 2L high speed was not it's forte.

I ran the backroads today and ended up on the main road. About 580 miles on it I looked down and couldn't believe I was doing 72mph in a 50 zone... it was so calm and leisurely I couldn't believe it. Even my VW isn't that relaxed at that speed. We had moderate rain and wind too and of course I slowed it down as MD. Will grab you quick.

Plus the rpms were low as well. Unlike the older sports this can be a good interstate cruiser...

I’m really surprised at your highway cruising comments. Definitely not the CVT experience I have had, somebody figured something out.

I just did a Popeyes run....
You're going to make me talk about things nobody wants to hear.

The CVT is still stiff and once in awhile it will feeling like it's downshifting when you decelerate

Still under 600 miles.
When you hit bumps at speed it gets a bit confused upfront...I suspect that is just it's light weight.

It's a runabout but atleast no wet belt like the Chevy Trax and no turbo or DI.

Simply a Nostalgia purchase and nothing more really but things do change and I suspect it was tuned for the Interstate. I was hitting .125inch high water puddles and the junk Nexens were halting the vehicle because they couldn't flow the water enough...seriously

The Contis on my Maverick are great in everything..the contis on the Arteon are a bit noisy at speed....

I'm thinking of dumping them if I keep the car. The Nexens are quiet and I need to check the psi on them as you know dealers.....it might get rid of the funk...it just snows daily..
Not doing much car work.

Are they all related? Are you experiencing any of the symptoms?

If your not, they will do it next time you show up at the dealer likely either way, I think there obligated if its an actual recall.

If there an actual recall you should be able to find the full TSB online from NHTSA website, then you can decide if you need it.
