Lets talk about new vehicles

I feel everytime something is suggested we hear why not..
(or OP ignores it entirely?)

overly broad question asked with not enough specifics.

Yep. The process is simple.

Subcompact, compact, midsize?

Sedan, crossover, SUV, pickup?

Brand preferences?

Budget? We got this one, I think?

Then you figure out your needs? Towing for example? Commuter? Etc.

We haven’t seen any of this here.

Don't think I ignored any vehicle.
Please provide the details.

Glad you are still here enjoying my thread. Thanks for your support.

Outlander with budget of up to $55K? Seriously?
This vehicle is such an ugly goat and one of the lowest rates SUV's in so many categories.
You can do better than this.
Your thinking the old vehicle.
It isn't even available until April as its all new from the ground up.
So those comparisons are obsolete.

The CK limited X was a nice vehicle.
Only had one. Tight and the seats fitted well albeit the bottom cushion was a bit stiff. The 20's added some stiffness too. I actually drove it on the Interstate..
Smooth and solid and the v6 was very muted but a bit lifeless in this SUV. Not gutless but struggled a bit on long upward grades. Came in at about $52k
Reminded me of the 80's ws6 suspension.
Just meets my highway mpg

Call me crazy, but the first thing I thought of when I read "Comfortable seats" was Volvo.

I quickly priced a new V60 Cross Country, added the most prevalent options, and came to this:

MSRP $50,595 including the following choices over the base model:

Napa leather interior: $2,800
Climate package: $750, includes heated rear seats, heated wheel, and heated washer nozzles
Lounge package: included with Napa interior. Includes power lumbar, power seat bottom extensions, 4-zone climate control and more
Backrest massage front seats: $500. This one explains itself.

It's hard to beat Volvo for driving comfort. Yes, you have to tolerate the "premium brand" ownership experience, but you'd be hard pressed to find better seats in any vehicle on the market. That's been true for 20 years. My old '96 960 had some of the best seats I've ever sat in, and that was after almost 20 years of use by the time I got it.

I agree and did drive a 90 when they first came out. So are you driving one now...new one. Great post.
Seriously are you bothered by Chinese ownership? Meaning have things changed QC wise??
