Somebody mentioned free shipping. I am not able to find the link with the coupon code. I would much rather take the free shipping than the dispenser.

It was probably me and what I meant was you could consider either the shipping or the dispenser free based on the discount. The deal is a discount ($16.50) on the package that is close to the price of the dispenser or shipping. Basically, you get a free dispenser out of the deal. The call it the "Kreen dispenser deal."

What exactly is the "dispenser"? Any picture? I mean a twenty cents funnel would do the job of the seventeen dollar dispenser, right??

IIRC it looks like a dispenser bottle from my school days in the chemistry lab. I can't find the flyer I had with a picture of it. Is it that worthwhile? Probably not, but heck it is free and shipping is knocked down $0.50 too with the deal versus just buying 4 quarts separately. Although shipping probably increased to cover the weight of the bottle.

I like the idea of the 4 quarts because I can go through them one at a time and leave the rest of them sealed. They also fit better in my locked child-safe cabinet in the garage too. I'm curious what are the Hazmat charges on a gallon.

I did 2 runs of kreen, the 2nd time the oil was much cleaner visually, not scientific i know just my opinion. The Car is running smoother. Right now im running dino to make sure all of it is gone, next OC im switchin to synthetic.

new user here. Went straight to my two oldest trucks. "A" is a 2004 Savana 3500 6.0 gas which is a bit of a factory freak. Over 400k miles and still runs very well, no oil consumption. Truck "B" is an 07 same make and model. Both work daily, 5-6 days a week. Curb weight is 9200 pounds. "A" has a bit of lifter tap and piston slap when cold since new, "B" has a driveway rebuild with everything new from the cam up at 250k miles. Uses some oil, no smoke or noise.

As an example of how hard we work these trucks, "B" used over 400 dollars worth of 87 last week!!!

Added 16 0z. Kreen to each today with 10w-40 Castrol GTX (on sale) and a Pure One. One truck went out to work (B) and one stayed home to run here (A) - stationary operations at about 1500 to 1700 rpm for 2 or 3 hours.

I don't expect a big change in A. It runs too good already. But B uses a bit of oil, sometimes a quart in a week. We thoroughly checked it out before we rebuilt it, the bottom end is quite sound. I'm thinking it may have sticky coked up rings.

Cross your fingers for me!

My wife's 03 Elantra has a lot of start up/idle clatter...wonder if kreen can help...car has 165k miles now...probably can use a cleaning...it drives mostly betw. 45-65 mph...

I am not 100% clear on directions:
her car probably has a 3.5-4 qts oil capacity...

can i add kreen to existing oil?
i add 16 oz to oil, 16 oz to gas, drive 1k, then repeat ONCE?
do i need to change oil after that?

can i add kreen to existing oil? You could, but isn't something I'd do when you're looking at a 1k run or more after starting a cleansing treatment. Just do an oil and filter change first to play it safe. That's what I did.

Add in roughly 3oz of Kreen per quart of oil in the sump - 12oz. in this case if it's only a 4 qt. sump. Run that for 1k - and if you're not yet happy with the results add another 12oz. for another 1k - then change the oil and filter.

That approach would net you a total of 2k on the Kreen with a smallish oil sump. And that's my

It depends on what is causing the clatter.
If it uses hydraulic lash adjusters or hydraulic cam chain tensioner and they are varnished then yes will help.
If it uses mechanical units that require adjustment then no it wont help, nothing other than adjusting them will.

+1 RnR use 3oz per qt.

update: AMAZING!!!

The results exceeded my wildest expectations. Truck A, the very high miles unit, was always noisy on start up. Just 30-45 seconds of clatter and then quiet as a mouse.

Started silently today! Unreal. I am super impressed.

No need to wait very long. Quiet as a mouse again today.

It appears that much of what we attributed to piston slap was actually carbon build up.

These are amazing results, WAYYYYY better than autoRX. I used that for 3 complete cycles and it didn't do what Kreen did in one day.

^^

Thanks for posting. I have 3 qts of Kreen locked and loaded. I'm going to try it in the gas for now.

OK, I ordered it but only one quart. It should be enough to treat almost 11 quarts of oil (and how many gallons of gas? what is applicable ratio to use in fuel?). I am going to experiment with my lawn mower and after that I will choose a victim from my car hood :-)

^Meh, use 2 ounces in 5 gallons for fun.

Okay, seriously ignore that and use it based on what other USERS say. I may get some of this Kreen in the future. I'd be curious to see what a UOA of an interval with Kreen and oil would look like.

I suspect, judging by the volatility, that Kreen will quickly evaporate/boil off over a period of time.

There's no way this stinky stuff can stay around too long. But boy does it work, and FAST.

Given that I have issues with my lawnmower and no complaints about the vehicles, I did not want to unnecessarily stock up on strong cleaner which could either eat through its own container or evaporate over period of few years. Shipping is high but there is not much on can do about that.

I am assuming the real instructions are on the can because there are NONE on the Kano Labs website (which was designed and implemented in 1950; I bet you did not know they had web sites in fifties :-)
