Kia forte, what engine is it

Family member has a 2019 kia forte ex (Canadian if that matters). I'm looking for engine specs, and seeing 2 different engines being mentioned. A 2.0 L GDI variant and a 2.0L MPI variant. The car has a CVT, that I'm quite sure of.

Anyone know what is in there or how to tell? Hopefully it isn't the GDI.

Have them open the hood, and on the plastic cover, if it’s a GDI it will say so in big letters in the middle. If it’s not, it’ll just say KIA or MPI.

the 2020 elantra cvt has 2.0 mpfi. atkinson cycle

Since the cars are similar I would think it has the MPFI engine.
