yep kia and hyundai america's worst warranty..

IIRC battery at one time was covered for 2 years 24month.

The warranty didnt cover the gear shifter overdrive button shorting out..
stuff like that

Probably because the 10 year/100,000 warranty is a drivetrain warranty, the button has nothing to do with the physical part of the drivetrain. I assume you were past the 60,000/5year bumper to bumper mark?
