Ugh...I probably need to do this. Good for you.

I vacuum and flush from the front and spray from the rear every ~1-2 years (only drive the 996 and 986 about 1K/yr), but seeing this makes me want to dig in there more. I am not concerned about cooling, the heat exchangers are clear, but more concerned about corrosion from the moisture being held against them by the debris. I thought about a stainless screen but that wont do anything for the mulch that collects.

Popping back in to say that I do have a center radiator on the way.

A real good friend has the Yang to my Carrera's Yin in that they're opposite. Mine is a Black/black 996.2 manual. His is a White/tan 996.1 tip. He ordered a center radiator kit for his car, and I told him to peek into the garage and take a look at his car - all tiptronic Carrera's come from the factory with a center rad!

So I got a really good deal on a center radiator kit!
