Wow...
All I'm saying is present day advertising the most we're seeing is 20k miles from Mobil 1. It seems to me that Mobil is always trying to catch up to Amsoil concerning both companies top tier oils. Yes, my personal belief is that AMSOIL Signature Series is a better product than Mobil 1 Annual Protection. JMO.
They aren't comparable products. Mobil 1 Annual Protection has to conform to the limits of the API, ACEA and whatever manufacturer approvals it carries, AMSOIL Signature Series doesn't. If Mobil were to take the same approach as AMSOIL, which they could certainly do, considering they are one of the largest producers of synthetic base stocks in the world and one of the companies AMSOIL buys from, they could certainly do up their own non-conforming additive package through Infineum and fire it into a PAO/Esterex base combo and sell it for less. But they don't, as their only non-approved lubricant is their Racing lineup.
So while there might be some overlap on the OCI duration front, the products themselves are markedly different because of the whole approvals thing.
