Is this a cheap way to monitor oil temps??

Hey guys- Check these out: http://www.mv.com/ipusers/paperthermometer/pages/indust.html#5-temp They're stick-on temp indicators....I was thinking about sticking them on to my oilpan and filter and getting some readings....any input? -Mike P

That would probably work well taped on the oil filter... How much do they cost?
