Is Supertech good enough for my needs?

I tend to go for the big-name stuff (Pennzoil, Castrol, Mobil1) for all the reasons you cited. However, SuperTech, as a blender, just buys an additive package from Lubrizol, who are very competent. Base oils are a commodity to some extent, especially the basic GroupIII cheaper full-syn base oil they use to keep their costs down.

I think they use Lubrizol anyway. They could walk up to Afton or Oronite and get the same spec'ed approved DI (detergent-inhibitor) packages, different formulations yet same specs anyway.

My point is that SuperTech (Warren) is not as much the issue as where they source their materials from, being a blender only. So is Lubrizol better than Mobil-Infineum? I'd say yes, likely. I don't know.
Mobil does use expensive PAO, when they could meet the specs with cheaper GroupIII, which says Mobil is going for "better".. Otherwise Mobil would save money and just use GroupIII.

In some products XOM uses GTL and other group III with little PAO.

I assume you use Castrol in the BMW you have because Castrol makes the oil for BMW brand oil https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=675411 . In that case, you may have the M60B30 V-8 and may have researched out that as the best oil. Some BMW enthusiasts even run Mobil1 High Mileage 5W-30 in it. Some prefer a 30-grade and some prefer a 40-grade, quick example https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?1236644-m60b30-oil-type-viscosity if LL-98 being needed on your engine. You are absolutely free to make your own determination if an oil is worth using or worth changing for another, If you are satisfied with any one particular oil then that is fine, no issues.

No, I am not using the Castrol in my BMW because that's the same as the branded BMW oil. I couldn't care less who makes the oil for BMW, all I care about are the approvals and certifications. I used to use Mobil 1 0W-40 but when they dropped Longlife-01 approval I started buying Castrol instead. The containers of Castrol 0W-40 at my local Walmart still are the LL-01 type so I'm continuing to buy that, but if it no longer carries the approval I'll probably just buy anything that has Porsche A40 approval since that is a very demanding specification.

And I have not "researched out" the best oil, how would I do that? I'm not capable of determining that an oil is "stout" by a VOA or UOA like some on here are seemingly able to do, nor do I really know whether my M60 engine likes an oil either. I also don't know whether your criteria of "like" is an acceptable substitute for a manufacturer's approval. All I know is that when an oil carries a particular certification or approval that means the oil has a performance level equal to or better than what the manufacturer specifies.

Off topic, first your signature said you were from Texas and Global, then just Texas and now just "US". Did you move?

For my 2 older vehicles, the 2005 4.6 V-8 Explorer with 197,000 miles and 1996 Contour 2.0L Zetec with 115,000 miles, Supertech oil is fine, especially the conventional since neither are driven a lot of miles, but very few short mile drives. Our 2017 2.3 EB Explorer will continue to get Mobil 1 5W-30 since it's tougher on oil and I've been able to purchase it with rebates for ~$11/5 quart jug and it meets all the turbo DI specs, even meeting A5/B5 extended use spec. As a bonus with the Mobil 1 rebates I've been getting the Mobil 1 oil filters for ~$5 each
