With EV's and their incredible acceleration breaking loose the most grippe summer tires, have we maxed out off the line acceleration?
You can say that again. It's interesting that the Plaid does cannot make a full 1100 HP
Apologies for the poor grammar. I was thinking about two different responses and combined them...You can say that again.![]()
Even with AWD?With EV's and their incredible acceleration breaking loose the most grippe summer tires,
No we are not maxed out by any means. As long as there are gas powered vehicles the manufactures add more hp every year to sweeten the pot. They want to make the money from everything produced and if it takes 5 additional hp each year it will be done. Amen BITOG brotha's.
The 0-60 acceleration of the Plaid is roughly equivalent to the braking action. Right about 1.2G. That's probably a tire limitation, as the Plaid creates a few percent of slip on all 4 tires.Cervical spine surgeries will be on the increase in the coming years.
That happened over a decade ago.I'd say were getting close to reaching maximum capability of the driving public.
I’d say we went far past that capability a long time ago…There's always Cup tires.

Anyway, in a car, we tend to perceive acceleration and deceleration differently. And 3G of acceleration in an airplane, entirely differently.
It has to handle like a formula car as well![]()
This Is What A Quarter Mile In 3.22 Seconds At 402 MPH Looks Like
It’s important to clarify that there’s no evidence during the video that the car indeed hit 402 mph (647 kph).www.motor1.com
I want the above with 50mpg, and must last 300k miles without a rebuild
