If you get a flip phone, get a 4g model. Verizon just stated they will not activate any 3g phones and around Dec of next year, you won't be able to use them at all.
I have been using a 3g flip original samsung gusto, I just changed to a smartphone, a moto g6. I like having gps and ability to send pics but overall i don't like the size and inconvenience of the smartphone format. Uncomfortable in my pocket and really kind of flimsy.
I will give it a while and if i don't like it i will go back to a flip, but it will have to be a 4g for verizon.
