Yap.

We are here:

Anyone else holding AAPL here? I started buying a few shares here/there in the Fall of 2011 and Spring of 2012. Held till 700.00, got greedy, and watched in horror since then.

It has rallied a bit; I'm hoping with the influx of new products coming out this fall and in early 2014, that it continues back up towards 600.00 next spring. It is simply amazing how low of a P/E ratio a company like AAPL has, as compared to Amazon, and others.

It will be interesting to see what happens if/when an agreement with China Mobil is finalized.

Aapl has a low P/E, but I guess the high price prevents some folks who buy in 100 share chunks from buying and selling rapidly.

It is odd. But I've not followed AAPL much in years.

AAPL is currently the talk of all the market technicians, as it's put in a double bottom/inverse head and shoulders type formation with a potential target of about $580. It's probably a good buy on a hard pullback. It held the 200 week moving average as well so it's still in a long term uptrend.

Carl Ichan did a little price pumping stunt the other day on Twitter too, which was great for share holders.

Yeah, jumped like 22.00 that day.

Rumors: Iwatch, Itv,

More than likely: scaled down version of Iphone for emerging markets

Big things potentially: As of July 2013, China Mobile is the world's largest mobile phone operator by subscribers with about 740 million subscribers

September 10 supposedly is the media event for the release of the next Iphone.

My cost basis is in the low 430's, so I am safe for the first time in awhile

Pump and Dump!

I hear you. I do find it funny that Amazon has the following estimates:

Sep 13 Dec 13
Avg. Estimate -0.09 0.77
No. of Analysts 37.00 37.00
Low Estimate -0.32 -0.10
High Estimate 0.20 1.54
Year Ago EPS -0.60 0.21

The perception of Jeff Bezos, and his future game plan certainly is being widely accepted, given what the company actually brings in. Currently trading at 284.82, forward p/e of 67.1.

Pump and Dump!

Lots of pump n dump going on. I can't blame them for wanting to do it.

Not sure were looking at the same chart. "nice" is only if you bought AGNC at around $20.5, as an example.

Is anyone else in on BP. They seem to be through most of the lawsuit stuff, have resumed their healthy dividend, and seem to be making a lot of money again.

And if Mexico goes through and opens up their offshore to outside companies, they are in a prime position to take advantage of that.

I bought some ARR today and dumped all my NUGT. Got 44% on that one. It's getting pulled down by stocks while spot metal soars.

I might be wrong, but I think rates have put in somewhat of a top, so now might be the time to load up on more yielders.
