Sold all my LNCO today >6000 shares. I had an insane fit of take profits. It was up on positive news about the Berry deal. Don't worry I still have a ton of LINE which is up over 20%. I get the feeling now anything over $30 on these two now seems over valued and frankly even for me it seemed I had too much in my portfolio.

I did buy EPI today, but only 500 shares.

+1. Reinvesting shares makes for great compounding.

Understood. I've done that in Ret. accts, just not Regular accts.

This new job is not turning out good (way too much stress, no time or parts for correct development), so retirement may be very soon. Or, open to other possibilities. Thank God I'm very marketable.

LINN may very well cut the dividend. Watch out.

OTOH this guy thinks they will go up:

The big question right now IMO is if they will have to readjust the terms of the Berry Petroleum deal given the value of BRY vs LNCO.

If BRY goes through then there will be no issue because production will stay high and there's a lot of access to new areas where production can occur. Apparently access to the Monterey Shale is a big deal too.

IMO a dividend cut is priced in at these levels, because even if it is approximately halved, most likely it would still falling the 6-8% range right now. That's really not bad for the long run.

Been thinking about SO for a while, just holding off to break the downtrend.

I'm really liking COP, low payout ratio, consistent dividend growth & good growth as well...

What do you think about COP??
