First new car from Dodge in quite a while. Actually, it’s an Alfa Romeo.

The Hornet name came with the Chrysler buyout of AMC way back when.

Dodge does not even attempt to compete with CRV, RAV4 , CX-5 etc. I guess a niche low volume with high profit is one way to go if anybody is interested.

Was driving behind a car with MX plates the other day, they call the Dart a Neon still.

I saw it (I spent more time looking at the electric Charger behind it!). It didn't do anything to say come look at me. The same basic profile every other compact-ish SUV has. It's a segment they need to be in though.

Why, hello there Dart - also a Alfa Romeo in Mopar drag. The Dart was an Americanized Alfa Stelvio.

I think this will get more traction than the Dart did.

Not sure why, but for me re-using a classic name on something that isn't remotely the same is a turn off.

Is there so little creativity left they can't come up with an appropriate new name.
