I need the book. I had this professor last semester and although she has the main stuff in her Powerpoint slides, which she posts online, there are questions on the exam that the book makes answering easier. It's also a 4000 upper level seminar style class and I think getting an "A" or "B" in it will look better than a "C" if I were applying to grad school some day.

Wow when I was in grad school the class numbers went up to 780 or something like that...you guys are in the 4,000's now? Must be all the number permeations that online classes are taking up or something. FYI- I was only kidding about not needing the text and going for the not-so impressive grades.

That's just the way FL public schools number things. When I was in WI they were using 3 digits.

Some problems I've seen is that the home work questions are different (how do you do homework then?), and the print quality of some are very low (especially those from India), and many times pages fallout. Also resell value of its used book are a lot worse.

If it is an old book, I'd rather get the US or non-3rd world edition used one rather than a new India edition. Those books from Hong Kong or other more developed nations are generally OK.
