Ink cartridge for Canon IP1800

I never use a printer at home,just at work. They take care of all the ink, paper,maintenance,etc. My 12 y.o. daughter says she ran outta ink. The printer is a Canon IP1800. i have heard about refillable cartridges or generic brand ones. Where's a good place to buy? Thanks
