In order to restore the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 studio model from the television show Star Trek, the Museum undertook an almost two year long project that included extensive research and meticulous conservation efforts.

Sounds plausible but the model shop crew must have been disappointed.

Buddy of mine, while working as a reporter for Vice, did a story on a guy in NY who made an exact replica of the bridge of the Enterprise. He said it was fantastic.

i enjoyed star trek series + although i liked Shatner i surprised myself liking the Picard series even more!!
