"Incompetent people" rant

Yes 100%. Want proof of this? Just read some of the posts here on BITOG. There are many members here who brag of being unethical and dishonest. Integrity to me is doing the right thing when nobody is watching. I live by it.

Unfortunately many others loathe even the mention of being honest and forthcoming. We are in a world of goofballs who have no care for anyone but themselves. It's a me me me society.
I've been seeing you turn every topic on this forum into a rant about your superior ethics and bashing other members, all while sexually stereotyping women in your profile picture. Apparently your ethics don't apply in that area? Seems like quite the double standard to me.

Don't get me wrong, I personally think your profile picture is awesome, but I'm not posting in everybody's thread about how much better of a person I am than everyone else...

Stay out of a hospital if you don’t like incompetent and major mistakes.
One tip would be not to see “mid level providers” insist on seeing a doctor with and MD or DO. Some NPs and PAs have can be drs but in their profession it’s not a medical doctorate but an administrative degree, useless in patient care. Many new NPs or PAs get degrees online and have no specializations in their field, these do not exist and yet you can find them working in ERs. A pet groomer at petco or a masseuse often need more training hours than these mid levels. Drs have 15,000 to 30,000 hrs of training mid levels 500 or less. Say that your living will or some legal mumbojumbo prevents you from seeing a mid level. PAs and NPs are only good for the basics if you’re sure of your silence t or if you need an MRI because they little to no diagnostic skills and will most likely google your problem.

Everyone here should have the vocabulary to make their point without profanity or bypassing the profanity filter.

I agree!! The ineptitude shown on this forum has me scratching my head sometimes. Simple grammar and logical sentences are bypassed with seemingly "clever cussing".

We moderate language, behavior, and topics.

Not grammar, intelligence, or command of the English language.

The ineptitude, poor grammar, bias, opinion, misunderstanding, faulty conclusions, as well as insight, intelligence, experience, and thoughtfulness expressed in the posts on BITOG are all representative of the distribution of those qualities across society at large.

Or, in the words of George Carlin, “Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.”

I thought I heard a rant like this 10 years ago... and 10 years before that... probably 10 before that too.

Nothing new under the sun. That's my thought.
;)"You can ignore reality, but you can't ignore the consequences of ignoring real
American's, as of late, lack integrity.
The problem has worsened dramatically in the last decade or two.
There was a time when people took pride in honesty and quality.
Those times are gone.
Look no further than WWII. The country came together and produced some
of the greatest products and achievements ever.
The no work no eat ideology went to the wayside as did the fear of failure.
It took a couple of generations of a lazy, non working selfish nation to end up where we are today.
Today's Americans can not fail. If they don't participate they still have a place to live, eat well, get free housing
and all the other entitlements that those who work and struggle to make ends meet toil to achieve.
No politics here, just facts.
You got that right big U. For those old enough to remember WW II, it's de ja vu October 1962, when many of us thought we would be incinerated in our bed. "No politics here, just facts."

Many in business take no pride in their work. If they did take more pride in their work we would not be always expecting shoddy work. That is why many of us here do our own repairs and use this Forum for advice on many topics. I use YouTube a lot for advice on repairs that I have never done before. Some on youtobe are not very professional, but they do try to help others with issues they have.

The guy had some issues. He titled this post "A RANT" If that gets under people's skin. Why read it and then come out guns blazing at the one who had the issues and needed to rant? As he said - A RANT thread. Why are some folks just seemingly sitting on edge just waiting to jump, attack the op? Who has not experienced bad service times / issues and complained or been ready to throw your hands up and rant? Guess only the perfect ones.
This is a discussion forum. Since it was posted here, seems to me the OP wanted "discussion" on the topic. If not, maybe writing it down in a notebook or a private journal would be the better idea.

People tend to think that when the whine about something, everyone else will chime in and root for them, agree with them, and so on .... but this is the internet. Ain't happening...

I think that the consumer needs to grow his own village, and select people to do jobs for them. San Antonio is full of crooks, mechanics, HVAC guys, sprinkler guys.

If I need to hire someone for a service I really vet them out, and look at stuff like Angies List or Yelp. Not a foolproof way of doing things, but if you have a couple hundred people who are satisfied you probably aren't doing too bad.

Once you find those people, you stick with them.

I have a landscaper who only services my community, where he does 45 houses only. A sprinkler guy who drives an old ford ranger, and shows up at the job with himself and an assistant and does excellent work, with every part on the truck, and a small town HVAC company who does honest quality work every time.
