My two sons knew he was a newby and stood behind him at all times. Ed was more hyped than he was safe...until he saw what damage a shot gun can do to a car hood. I explained that gun violence on TV was all Hollywood drivel and that guns can kill instantly. Once he saw the hood damage up close, he instantly realized that a human body doesn't have much chance against ammo and he really did have a lot of respect for guns after that.

I think it is...Just more kick than a .357mag. You probably wouldn't mind it if your comfortable with .500 & .454.

I'm just not a fan of big bore single action revolvers, I do like .357's because you can shoot .38spl rounds. I guess I'm just getting old...

Try this: Put a watermelon on top of a fence post as a shotgun target. Explain the same thing will happen to your head! All that red will be the insides of your head, scattered in tiny pieces. It makes for a lasting impression.....

Sleddriver...those demos are great for kids.

When am he got bikes I sacrificed a helmet and a coconut to show them what a fall from 3' did with and without helmet

Permit? It's a completely legal action, similar in legality to eating cake. Do you need to permit to eat cake? Do you need to permit to borrow a lawn mower or sledge hammer from a neighbor?

Some people think guns are so regulated and burdensome to get, when in actuality, in free America, they are not (as it should be)

Give the guy $10, he gives you any of his rental guns to use on the range.

Background checks take time and cost money and would be excruciatingly burdensome just to rent a gun for 5 minutes... the entire premise of renting guns is to quickly shoot the gun on the range and see if you like that style of gun so you can purchase your own.
