What I don't understand is what if somebody posts a link to youtube video where the comments are profanity free, then - after the link has been posted and the edit time has expired - somebody on youtube chooses to express themselves in vulgarities in the comments, how is the poster of the link to be held responsible?
I see the logic in not using that kind of language here (sort of, anyway) and it stands to reason that we should not link to material that employs that kind of language. But to say that the comments on a video or article can't contain profanity is ridiculous. It's just absurd. You're holding people liable for the actions of strangers in the future.
