Tried the Collinite #476S double super wax on the car and am extremely impressed by the shine and water beading. This stuff makes the Meguiar's #26 carnauba wax look like [censored]. This Collinite stuff must have a very high % of pure carnauba.

I am hooked on it now.

Collinite 476s is the only wax I bother to use anymore. It beads for a long time and is the best winter wax you can use. I've always thought the shine it produces is as good as the high end waxes out there.

Get ready for the Zaino boys telling you that you dont know what you're talking about and nothing on this Plant is better then Zaino. I agree 476s is excellent.

I've experienced the Zaino boys on other boards, so I am prepared for them. Some boards actually have a "no Zaino posts please" standing request.

Wish I had known about this stuff sooner. I have tried everything, from NXT to Klasse, and this stuff looks better than them all. I have heard that the Collinite will last a long time for a straight up carnauba. That's good because I just don't have the time to invest in an 8-10 hour wax job anymore.

What's up with NXT 2.0 stuff anyway. This stuff sucks. I put on a nice coat awhile back and it just did not bead and protect for very long at all. Promptly went in the trash can.

Collinite make some great waxes that is for sure. You can't go past #845 as a good tough durable wax.

Chemical Guys Wet Mirror Finish Gloss Magnifier topped with Chemical Guys Pete's 53 Wax has stolen my heart at present! Never seen a finish like it but can't seem to take pics good enought to show it off!

No hablo Zaino.

On some of the other "detailer" boards, I have read complaints about Colinite 476s being hard to wipe off, or only do one panel at a time (wipe on -wipe off). I wax down my vehicles, let the wax cure overnight in the garage and wipe down the next day. I've never had a problem wiping the wax off. Just put on a thin layer. Maybe these guys on the detailer boards that complain about the wax being hard to wipe off are putting down a layer like they are applying spackling paste!

I barely used 1.5 ounces of polish (zaino BTW ;)) to do my entire 95 Roadmaster. It's no small car either. Probably some people think they need to use half of it or they're not getting enough on the car :)

Yes, because in your extensive four months on this board, you have obtained an expansive knowledge of what people will say here.

K thanks!

The Colinite web site has a listing of national dealers. Here in Northern Ohio, Colinite 845 can be found at Advance Auto Parts and Federated Auto Parts carries the 476s as well. Seems to be easy to find around this area, several local detailer / auto paint stores also carry the product.

It's a shame they don't have the ad budget like Meguiars, because this stuff is the real deal. Already have three coats on this spring on a black car, so you can imagine how nice that looks.
