You can tell by how far the tensioner ratchets out (to take up slack).
The center of your first image shows it's almost all the way in.

Well yes and no. While that is a rough indication, the only true way to tell if the chain is stretched is to take it off an measure it flat on a bench. There's also measurements you can make of individual links as well. Remember it doesn't take a large amount of fluctuation to cause timing to go off at least to the point of setting cam crank correlation codes.

I wasn't so worried about the chain as I was the tensioners. Figured it was worth a shot while it was apart.
