Hybrid engines have easy life?

What about a hybrid with a turbo? turbos are tougher on oil than N/A.

I'll still change it at 5000 miles.
That would concern me more. Not for the engine per se, but for the turbo that can come bearings.

Perhaps those engines have electric oil pumps for the turbos??

I DD a 20 CR-V Hybrid (85k miles). OCI coming up and maybe I'll take a sample before 10k to see if there are any issues?

What stats, positive or negative should I look for in a Blackstone UOA?

Driving is mostly highway with hybrid kicking in town most of the time and using manual regen when braking. It seems the hybrid engine is always helping to some degree when off the line.

You should find a better lab than Blackstone so you can get accurate fuel dilution numbers.

Oil Analyzers or Wearcheck.
I 2nd this. I use Oil Analyzers (Horizon) via the Amsoil kits. I think I bought 4 kits for a little over $100 last time. Then use pirateship to mail them out for a few $.

Use the Horizon app to log your samples. Once you have your vehicles set up, you just scan the barcode for that sample into the app, slap the barcode on the bottle, and mail it.

Quick turn around time and much more accurate/consistent than BS.
