HPLs SuperCar is based on the 502/505 full saps package.Looks like a euro oil with added Moly. The 11.96 Visc. is good. Nice find!
Good to knowHPLs SuperCar is based on the 502/505 full saps package.
Their Euro oil is based on either 502/505, 504/507 or 508/509 depending on the viscosity.
The No VII d1G3 line is >13.5 according to PDS11.9 TBN!!!! Holy crap!
This Virgin above is a powerful elixir. Much more-so than the Amsoil EOT Euro 0w30 SP our Kia is currently using. The No VII d1G3 line is >13.5 according to PDS
I “think” there’s a No VII VOA posted somewhere… if not, can @High Performance Lubricants help us out on this maybe? Thanks Dave! This Virgin above is a powerful elixir. Much more-so than the Amsoil EOT Euro 0w30 SP our Kia is currently using.
I didn't buy any No VII oil in SP D1-G3 on Cyber Monday. I need to see either a member's UOA or VOA additives listing first.
But I sure wanted to and still have the piggy bank loaded for it....oink-oink!![]()
The No VII Euro is 502, full sapsI “think” there’s a No VII VOA posted somewhere… if not, can @High Performance Lubricants help us out on this maybe? Thanks Dave!
Side note: VOA won’t tell you how an oil performs… but Dave told me the 5w30 Euro No VII is the VW 504 add pack, which in his opinion is one of the stoutest available.
Yes, that's kind of their claim to fame - cleaning ability and absurd drain intervals (in the right engines, of course).3,800 ppm of Calcium + Magnesium. Not sure what this insanity tries to achieve, cleaning and long drain intervals?
Not necessarily . They don't sell as much as the big brands so to turn a profit they need to sell at a high price. The 0w16 I got from them had date code of 2023. You will not find 2023 Pennzoil in any Walmart, they must be in April 2025 date code right now.Would the moly and pay base oil be therein reason HPL is so costly?
Spell correction changed. PAO to Pay.Not necessarily . They don't sell as much as the big brands so to turn a profit they need to sell at a high price. The 0w16 I got from them had date code of 2023. You will not find 2023 Pennzoil in any Walmart, they must be in April 2025 date code right now.
Well they use a lot more of it.Not necessarily . They don't sell as much as the big brands so to turn a profit they need to sell at a high price. The 0w16 I got from them had date code of 2023. You will not find 2023 Pennzoil in any Walmart, they must be in April 2025 date code right now.
Don't you think if they sold in big volume price would go down? If they can afford the 15% BITOG discount now, they could afford to go down further if volume increased significantly. Very nice of them that they themselves let me know about that 15% discount. I didn't know about it and I was ordering regardless of any discount.Well they use a lot more of it.
