I have a swisher finish mower I got cheap a few years back to mow spots on my hunting property. The mower is stored there so I don't have it at home to tinker with.

When I got it I replaced the carb, it had been sitting a while and was really corroded inside. The replacement was a Nikki, old carb was a walbro.

Well, since it's an older mower basically only 1 replacement carb and no manual choke lever (old one had one but was a different style). So since I only use it a out 5 times a year I just wedge a stick in to hold the choke open to start. We'll, that's getting old. I looked up the manual and found the part I need (#951 below the diagrams of the carbs is the lever kit) and found a Chinese job on ebay I took a screen shot of to show the style of carb I have and the lever (you see the lever and the block with spring on the left side)

How does this install? Does anyone have a pic, step by step or video that shows? I'd rather not drive an hour to my property just to be confused about it lol. Thanks in advance!

Well if anyone happens to have my same issue, figured it out. I went up to my property with the new choke lever. Not only that but I realized the original choke wire is missing (it's the type you pull the throttle past full and it starts to choke)🤦‍♂️

I guess I never paid attention to it. Only use it about 5 times a year. Dumb on me. Either way, one look at the mower and I quickly realized the clamp piece screws onto the intake tube. Easy peasy. So if you need a manual choke installed here ya go
