How much would it cost to get these wheels fixed?

Why dont you clean the wheels up and repost a picture to show what they really look like in good condition?

IMO, While they look rusty and uncared for, brake dust and light road grime can make everything look faded and rusty.

Good luck on compensation. It can often be difficult and slow.

I was expecting some huge [censored] scratches. My friend got new rims out of a tire shop, but his scratches were all over the wheel and they were deep.

Well, after about 50 phone calls, and way too many "I'll call you back"(s) with no reply, they're buying me new wheels. Their first offer was only $150 but that was just an insult.

The moral of the story: NEVER GO TO BRAKE TEAM!

Not really. They did their absolute best to ignore me and low ball me. They damaged my wheels Oct. 3rd, here it is Nov. 29 and I'm still waiting. It should have been "We damaged your wheels? I'm so sorry, we'll order new ones ASAP". In fact, they have yet to even say "sorry".

Then again, this should have never happened in the first place. You have to be REALLY stupid to do the damage they did by simply removing wheels. I now have to go get my brakes checked somewhere else because I don't trust that they are safe.

Another moral: "You just can't have anything nice."

SM: Despite the aggravation, your persistence paid off. But I wouldn't pat myself on my back until I had cash in hand (or wheels on truck). And show us pics of the new ones before you neglect them again...
