On my way to my local WM this AM, there is a SHELL near WM. Gas there was $1.72. 2 hours later they had raised the price to $1.79!
Here come higher gas prices for 4 years.
Filled up the Camry Tuesday night in MD at $2.05/gal. Stopped by Wednesday night to grab a sandwich before work and it went up to $2.24/gal in just 24 hours... Local prices at my place in PA still hovering around $2.45/gal.
I paid $3.69.9 per gallon for 91 octane premium at my local Shell station. I live in a small mountain community with only 3 gas stations. Gas is typically about $0.20 per gallon higher here than in the cities down in the valley so I usually fill up when I am down there shopping. Of course I then burn about a gallon and a half climbing back up the mountain so I may not be saving that much after all.
