How many of you rotate your tires right after an oil change?

We do every 10k oci on our 18 VW Tiguan. It manages about 60k of tread life of even wear.

My daughters Acura we have replaced 3 tires in two years due to damage so nope on that .

I have a factory staggered set-up, and in 76k I’ve never done a side-to-side rotation. I’m on my third set of gummy Michelin’s so I guess I’ve been lucky. 🤷‍♂️

OCI's always at 5k miles. I used to rotate the tires at the same time. I pressure wash the tires and rims at the same time.

As I've gotten older, I'm putting the rotation off for another day. Just too much work in one day for this old dude.

Tire rotations during oil changes every 5k miles on DDs. Switching between winters and all seasons will somewhat change that 5k interval by about 1-2k miles so that I can line them up with an oil change. Has worked out just fine thus far.
The fun cars get them once every 2 years depending on how many miles they get stored in the winter and don’t get driven on days when it rains or the real hot summer days.

Every 7-8K miles usually within a couple of weeks of the oil change at similar intervals. Will be running an oil analysis after next oil changes on my two vehicles, 2016 BMW 328i (M1 0W40) and 2021 Merc. GLC 300 (M1 ESP 0W30), to see how the oil is fairing.

Majority of driving is to the local stores, with a couple of long trips each year.

Corvette = no, staggered setup with directional tires.
Truck = no, I change from winter to summer and back, rotate then, as well as every time I go off roading.
Wife's car = every other oil change.

I am not in the habit of rotating my tires. First of all, I can’t do that with my Corvette since it has 245-35-19s up front and 285-30-20s out back. And even though my Civic uses the same size all around, I just don’t see the point of rotating them when they are wearing out at an even rate front and back. I have 55,000 miles on the current tires and still have tread left on them. My entire adult life I really haven’t rotated my tires very often and I just don’t see uneven tire wear and always get very long life from my tires (case in point, I still have the original back tires on my Corvette and they have 60,500 miles on them!!)
Same. I did rotate my tires recently on a fwd car, but that’s only because the fronts were obviously more worn than the rears.

In my mind, to maximize laziness, I only rotate once in a tire’s lifetime. So that when it’s time to get new tires, the front and rear are equally worn out.

Yes. 5k makes it easy to “remember”.

I usually get about 40k out if a set of tires before they are 4/32.

I do rotations @ 5k and OCs @10k. The tire shop's "keep tires in treadwear warranty" schedule (& I guess the mfg's) is <=6k so I'm just keeping that alive...and they do it free as well, so very little time and $0 involved. I was going to say "actually, I've never noticed any out of whack wear on any of our current cars and can't recall having seen it on any previous for probably at least the past 20-some years". All the vehicles we have now we acquired at low to moderate mileage and VG-excellent condition, and I've been consistent w/ rotations so granted, I'm not giving uneven wear that much chance to show, but even before these when I had some pretty high mileage cars, and didn't rotate consistently, really don't recall an issue. I wonder how necessary it really is on most modern cars, barring a specific cause for the alignment to be out? At least in my experience for the 20+ years, alignment and suspension issues haven't been an issue...and that's with living in Tulsa, where some of the expressways are pothole after pothole.

I take it to the Ford dealer and for $69 they change the oil (Motorcraft 5W-20 semi syn and Motorcraft filter) plug it in to the code reader, rotate the tires, top off the fluids and check the brake pads thickness on all for wheels and give the underbody a inspection. I get a three page report. Surprisingly they have never tried to add on things like cabin filters or wipers, found me a super honest dealer.

We were taking the mrs Galt’s Mercedes in to the dealer and for just under $200 they were changing the oil and filter, nothing else. I complained that for that price a tire rotation should be included. The service writer said a rotation was an additional $149. ***!

I switched to doing the oil myself using Mobil 1 euro 0w-40 and Mann oil filter and we got new Michelin tires and I have Costco rotate the tires once a year as part of the installation package. I did the cabin air and the engine air filter myself using Mann parts. They looked as good as the OEM filter they replaced. I guess Mann is okay? I will say the Mercedes OEM wiper arms seem to last far, far longer than any store brand and do a better job so I get them and install them myself.

On my FWD cars, I buy 2 tires at a time, install on front. When the front tires get below half original thread depth or when dry rot first appears, whichever comes first, I "rotate" them to the rear and buy 2 new tires for the front. That way, I always have fresh rubber on the front, where it matters. The rears just go for a ride with minimal wear and no effect on handling or ride quality.

The ‘22 Tahoe is on a PM plan - so yes to that one …
The others it’s more like 5k oil and 10k tires …

I do rotate at 5k but don't necessarily change the oil. I try not to plan too much at one time so I can get everything finished.

If I had a shop and a lift, I might well do both at once.
