Repair industry "bake" units in the booth are not the same as those used during the body manufacturing process, the assembled car cant be subjected to over 350 degrees for 40 min.
Its all force drying, paint dries one of two ways curing or evaporation of the solvents used. Many years ago enamel was baked using methods similar to bake powder coatings.
Read these two articles and you will see they are the same thing as far as modern paints are concerned, its all force drying.
