I saw this stuff on Tik Tok and thought, why not give it a try? My '07 Sonata was an old lady's car that had garaged it for a while, now that it's in the sun 100% of the time the clear coat is flying off. I don't think it was garaged early in its life though.
This coating doesn't rally promise an magic, they just say it improves the look by 80% or so and lasts up to 2 years, but on heavier damaged clear coats it may be a year or so. For $50 I thought I'd give it a try, not much to lose. It also helps with scratches and headlights. For prep I just ran it through the car wash, I literally put this stuff over leftover bird poop. Also used paper towels which left some lint, they recommend using the blue shop paper towels but I didn't have any. The hood is streaked because I didn't put it on thick enough, I may do it again next week. I did the whole car from the body line above the door handles up, the whole back bumper, and most of the front bumper. You literally just wipe it on. Can do the whole car in like 10-15 minutes tops. I used 1/2 of a 4oz bottle.
I'll update this post as time goes on to see how it holds up.
Also, my little sister drives it. Ignore the bumper stickers lol.
