How do you keep the inside of your vehicle clean?

They do here. That's the last stretch of the dirt road to my house he also drives to other houses in my neighborhood .

Originally they were bringing a flat bed every week and exchanging an empty for a full. They had 6 or so bins on the flatbed and a couple of guys to load them onto the lift on the rear of the truck.

That was a lot of work to move them on dirt ,rocks or sand. Having just 1 guy in the big truck is more efficient I'm sure.

Yeah it's usually a front loader. They stick those side pockets and lift it over the cab of the truck and empty it. Only ever see the flatbed for the 20 yard dumpsters that they winch on and tilt up onto the truck

I never leave junk, garbage, trash in my car. I throw it out ( if I order take out coffee going to work ) at the end of the day at home or when I refuel after commuting back from work.

I clean/ detail my own cars twice a year ( spring and late fall ) and don’t let the inside get dirty between.

I don’t care about the outside anymore.
Yeah I had them wash the outside once and I said just the outside, don't worry about the inside. Guy gets done and says well I see why you didn't want the inside done. 🤭😂 Oops. I bought one of those carpet cleaners and went at to prepare for my date. Now I just have a second vehicle not used for work, so I don't have a pile of trash inside at the end of the week. Atleast one vehicle stays clean. The inside atleast. The dog isn't allowed in it either

Give me wife the keys, she likes to clean out the truck and wipe it down when I'm taking an afternoon nap with the dog, sometimes she even does a wash and wax; and she cleans the house when I take out my solo bike for the day. It is nice to wake up to a clean truck or come home to a clean house.

No she doesn't have a sister, she does have an older brother who cleans even more than she does.

It is perfect as I'm the classic male style of living in piles and she is clearly the antithesis of that. We do have one room in the house she has surrendered to me and doesn't go into unless needed, same with half of the garage; primarily because she knows people moving things on me drives me a little batty.

Same. The only one who can sort the trash from the treasures is me and I also can't find anything when it's all neat and organized or moved around all the time. Kind of like when I organize my tool box. I look all over and then find out it's right where it's supposed to be which is never the case. Especially when I walked past the 9/16" wrench by the bathroom door for the last 3 months, now suddenly its in the tool box drawer😭 i just cant

My wife worked at my son's old school and when she was responsible for the car line she came home with stories of how the interiors of the parents' cars are just nasty and disgusting. When my son was home from college for the summer and was working at our BMW dealer washing and valeting customer cars he too came home with similar stories.

My son was never allowed to make messes or leave trash in the car. A few years ago some guy posted on here that he gave up keeping his car clean once he had kids and he "joined in the fun." I replied that I saw nothing "fun" about driving a car with an interior that that looked like the inside of a rubbish bin.

Use a 35+ year old HOOVER canister vacuum cleaner with bags . Just vacuumed both cars with it after winter use . Next will be in a few months and then in late fall . Sometimes in winter if the weather permits .

Sometimes I move some wood to the cottage and use the chainsaw near by with the doors or windows open. Debris gets all over the place. I secure the loose stuff, open all doors and blow out the van with the leaf blower.
