How do you keep the inside of your vehicle clean?

They used to have trash cans in every direction. Now you can't empty your junk out at the mcdonalds drive thru anymore. Well it's a 50/50 chance, and it looks weird walking up to a department store with a handful of trash to dump into their trash can at the front of the store. I suppose if I didn't use my vehicle for work , it wouldn't be a problem. A lot of stuff has to stay in it. Otherwise, I'll forget to put it back in, so then you still have too much crap inside to take it and have it detailed. Lol life's problems

I can't stand having garbage of any kind in my car. I throw away whatever garbage I accumulate in my car when I get home. At work we have numerous dumpsters if I have anything large that needs to be disposed of.

My kids' cars look like they live in them. 😤

I have a trash can at home.

Gas pump islands for sure. I'll use anything available though, I dumped two styro-foam cups into WalMart's trash can just an hour ago.

I am courteous, small things like a cup or two are fine. I won't dump anything much larger than that.

I hate clutter inside a car.

Trust me, the world much prefers you to dump trash at a department store trash can, than tossing it on the ground or into the woods. The country/city hopes people use the trash cans for their trash and not dump them on the street like some freaks do

Also, it doesn't look weird for you to walk up to a Best Buy trash can to get rid of trash or any department store. I've seen people do that before and I didn't think anything of it other than "that guy's throwing trash away" lol

We have a big metal dumpster at home. It's only like $4 more a month than a can. Everything goes in that.

Dry trash is thrown on the floor to be picked up later.
On a trip, every time I pull into a gas station I tell my passengers to hand me the trash.

Short answer: don't have kids. :D I remember giving a coworker a ride home once and when she got in the car she said "I can tell you don't have children because the car is too clean."

As for my day-to-day, I hang one of the plastic bags from Wal-Mart/Meijer/Menards off of the glovebox and when it fills up, I chuck it into the garbage can at home. If it's anything food-related, that bypasses the garbage bag and gets tossed as soon as I get home. Don't want to attract rodents from the food smell.
