Looks to be a new product for trucks and LS and probably Coyote Fords.

My guess is this is for the damage has already been done maybe? 🤔. I would still go the route of using Schaeffers EP 132 as its slightly cheaper, does a great job actually doing what it says, and I have used it and it has some additives unlike some other brands. Other products I think would help additive-wise are LM Ceratec or Archoil 9100.

No thanks, I’m not pouring a quart of 0w16 to replace a quart of 5w30.

Their SDS has absolutely zero info on it, so the only thing we’re sure is actually in it is FR3, which is simply an mPAO. They claim it’s a fully-formulated oil, but to whose formulation?

All you’re guaranteed is that 1: your wallet will be $20 lighter, and 2: Fix + Protect will be miscible with what’s in your crankcase, even if it’s absolutely benign. No thanks!

2019-2024 Cummins and 6.4 Hemi owners beyond warranty, shelling out $20 on a hope and a prayer.
And GM 6.2. And Ford...really everybody these days it seems.

HSS marketing department has correctly identified a giant base of potential customers.

Repackaged Stiction Eliminator? Seems like the diesel community was really into Hot Shots. I tried the stiction eliminator with no noticeable results, same with their lubricity additive. Ironically their fuel treatment gelled up on me. So I haven't bought their products for a while.

Like john said, the market for this is huge right now!

"Hotshot" secret. I never understood that poor branding.
"Hotshotters" are the guns that run around in Dodge 4500s they can't pay for, no DOT numbers, no insurance, no operating authroity, not following HOS rules, running loads illegally on no sleep in shoddy trucks, losing money hand over fist. Wannabe truckers who use their occupation as a way to justify owning a diesel pickup ...

That's exactly who I want to name a company after.

Well, guess it makes sense for a diesel additive company.

The Hotshots Shift Restore did wonders to keep my cvt transmission going, had a seep, no more and I posted of the pan removal it was exceptionally clean at over 400,000 miles. Its the only product I use from them. Kinda like LM Motor Oil Saver, Radiator Stop Leak and Ceratec... Niche. Valvoline has me on the Valvoline Restore and Protect and Valvoline Extended Protection High Mileage switch off back and forth.

I thought for a second this was about lyme-disease tips from those firefighters that jump out of planes into burning forests.

Interesting product though, that bottle looks much larger than 1 quart TBH.

HSS with their bro-tastic marketing.

I wont reward them with my $$$.. unless its on clearance for $1 at ollie's... then maybe.
LOL 😂... You would go into a Ollie's 🤣. I wont succumb to that low of a standard. I would rather look for a date at a family reunion then go into that store. I've heard from many people that it's worse than even Big Lots

Yeah I never really got caught up in their products but I felt certainly comfortable with the shift restore as it was over 90% ester on the tech data sheet and they had ran some cars on a Dyno before and after. Like I said before after my transmission pan came down and I saw how spotless it was underneath I felt like using it at the two suggested treat rates, one being 1.5 ounces for basic to 2.4 for seal swell and other needs.
