Yes, I plan to do more UAOs as this is a hobby. However, I don’t drive as many miles as you use to. I use to put around 7k miles in only 3 months with my old 2003 Accord. Click here for the UOAs of my 2003 Now, it takes over 8 months to put less then 6k miles on my 2013.

For the most part, all 3 labs had similar numbers. CAT was way off with fuel dilution. I’ve also noticed Blackstone only has about 1/3 of AL as the other two labs.

Any theory why this is so? Could the oil sitting in my recycle container for about a week have anything to do with it?

Would it have been possible to grab the samples while draining the oil? I'm sure it could get messy without a helper.

My recycle oil container is 5 gallons and that thing is never 100% empty even after I take it to recycling. Lawmower oil and everyone else's oil would have contaminated my sample.

You are supposed to get the sample oil as you drain it. I did that for the first two labs. I decided to use a third lab about a week after I changed the oil.

I thought the general consensus was that you should try to avoid running an oil for too long with TAN higher than TBN.

Blackstone as I did here for my second oil change. Second uao for my 2013 Accord
