Best wishes to BOTH of you. I hope you have a good support system of friends or family.
EDIT: LOL, Shannow and I had the same sentiment two minutes apart.

Yes..I did not mean to sound selfish. Just reflecting (as your sentiments indicated) it is difficult as a caregiver and of course I try to do the best job. And as your job gets easier it is indeed a great thing for all reasons.

Thanks all again.

Tech is increasing, I saw a clinic the other day advertising "Same day joint replacement" I'm like Waht?

Yeah, it's impressive how efficient they are with joint replacements. I don't recall exact times, but when I had my total knee replacement, surgery was Monday morning, was told it took 45 minutes start to finish. By that afternoon they had me get out of bed, walk around it, and get back in bed. That evening I was up and walking the short distance to the bathroom. Late morning the next day they had me walk down a very long hallway to PT training and walk back. That afternoon on Tuesday, I was on the way home.

The wife took two weeks off to help me and boy am I appreciative of her help!!

Best wishes to continued recovery.
