OK, let me start by saying this is not an apples to apples comparison. HF has a 1/2" cordless impact wrench for around $109 that is spec'ed for 200+ ft/lbs and the Dewalt is spec'ed for 300+ ft/lbs. The Dewalt is $134 at Lowes. OK, the Dewalt is a bare tool, no case, battery or charger. But I have that already and am trying to standardize on the Dewalt 18V. So for me, the battery and charger are not a problem. So for $25 more I can get a Dewalt with 50% more ft/lbs. And I work at Lowes part time for hobby money so there is another 10% off.
