I agree that Isophix has a manual that does make good sense.

The other guys have made good suggestions already. I would only add that Isophix run that car good and hard for just a bit of fun at times. Driving is challenging out there but a lot of fun as well. So Isophix I'd say drive hard at times and enjoy

The only other one I have seen like this was the manual provided to Australian Corolla owners back in 2009.

Bravo!

Its the same manual as for my Hyundai in my sig...I wonder why they discard 10w40...its what dealer is using for N/A engines here (helix hx7 10w40)

From upper to bottom it goes...

1)grades for gasoline engines for EU countries
2)grades for gasoline engines outside EU comunity
3) grades for diesel engines (here hyundai somehow doesnt divide EU/noneEU)

And also below that chart from 1-4 it is written...

1)for lower fuel consumption you should use SAE 0w40 5w30 5w40 (api SL, acea A3, or above/higher then that)

2) same statment also for 5w20 (api SM/Ilsac gf-4)

3)in countries of middle east DONT use oils in 5w20 viscosity (apparently there is too hot for that oily water to protect

)

4) if you are doing 30.000kms OCIs then use 5w40 5w30 0w40 0w30 oils...wich basically means here go for a SYNTHETIC oil if you are doing long drain intervals

Don’t waste money on a boutique or “EP” (e.g. M1 EP or AP, Valvoline “modern engine”) oil since you will be changing it too frequently to matter.
