Is the 8 speed that much better? I know it has a deeper first gear, but at some point, if you're working the vehicle, those super tall OD gears just get redundant. And if you're not working the vehicle often, then you don't need that deep gearing that often (just let the torque convertor do the work).
I think I like the Colorado better; maybe in something other than red it's not so "in your face". The Ford is more conservative, which looks nicer but that slabside front view of a grill...
Is it me, or is that F150 photo make it look like its not 2 feet off the ground? I can't tell if its just perspective or not. It looks lower slung than current trucks. Assuming those are not 20+ inch wheels I might be ok with it.
