Did a VOA on the Mystik 15w50 CI4+. The results were disappointing and the values were less than the amounts Mystik claimed for the blend.

Looks like a very poor CI4+ HDEO. On my 1974 Laverda 3c, the valve train was noisier and gearbox was not as smooth with Mystik. I have been using Rotella for thirty years with this (and others)engine. My change was prompted by the reduced levels of ZDDP in the new CJ HDEO Rotella.
Made a swift change to Brad Penn 20w50 motorcycle oil. I plan on a VOA of this oil too. My first impressions are very favorable. Valve train is very silent! Gearbox is smooth shifting and road performance is excellent. Reputation of Brad Penn is very good among the Porsche enthusiast and racing crowd. Posted levels of ZDDP are very high.
