Hello and while at AAP yesterday was kinda tempted to try some of the HAVOLINE SYN in 5w20 or 0w20. Anyone here using this? This was the first time I have EVER saw it at AAP near me.

I'm running Havoline Synthetic 5W-20 in our new-to-us '06 Ford Freestyle; got it and a MC filter on sale at AAP. No issues to report so far.

I have been very impressed with the chevron supreme synthetic. I have a sample on its way to blackstone for both a voa, and a uoa with about 7500k on it that came out of my accord. The Honda is due a timming belt change and a valve adjustment next week so I will take some photos with the cover off and post. Fill hole looks clean. I also noticed chevron delo now offers synthetic 5w-30, and 0w-30 HDEO. Next time I go to the distributer, I'm gonna get a case of each to add to the stash. For a company that makes there own base oils, and makes there own additives, and owns the rights to the hydrocracking process, can't go wrong with chevron!

Thanks guys, and AAP near me had 4 left of the 0W20, and it was $6.59 a qt. Got all four of them.

Looking at the PDS, the 5W-40 meets BMW LL-01, VW 501/502/505, Daimler 229.30/229.50 and Porsche A40 so it's very good stuff. I'll have to see if it's available for a good price around here.
