Found some havoline formula 3, 9 quarts of 10w30 sh rated, 4 quarts of 10w30 sj rated. used some in oil change on 2002 ranger with 3 litre v6. its been in for about 1500 miles engine seems to be quieter now than with the 10w30 synpower thats been used in the truck since new. i mixed 3 of the sh with 2 of the sj. on the back of the sj bottles its dated 01/00, on the back of the sh i could not find a date . I know this oil is out dated for 2002 model year, but i could not stand to see my neighbour through this out to be recycled. And i could not control the urge to try it in the truck.
