So Wednesday I had a mobile mechanic install two new rear knucles on my 2019 Malibu. I would've done it myself but after having my meds adjusted and changed in 2022 I have gained enough weight to bring me up to 360lbs. I would've been stuck under the car rolling around like a lard lizard.
Anywho, He did a good job and pointed a couple things out. Driver side bearing looked like it had been previously dropped and had been dented - but makes no noise and spins smoothly. Passenger side bearing is little hard to turn but also makes no noise. So if it ain't broke, don't fix it right?
The car is now getting 2 new rear tires and an alignment which I can't of course do on my own.
How do you guys feel about mobile mechanics? Yay or Nay?
