2009 Toyota Matrix ... Clunk Pulling Out of Driveway

Doubt its the links have changed those 2-3 times now haha. Could be the strut however those are also new, I do remember that when putting the passenger side strut on we did have to tighten the top hat bolt as the top hat was a bit loose, would you have any tips for checking the strut?
If you could get it to do it idling, you can try feeling the coil spring at the time the noise occurs. You should be able to "feel" the noise reverberate through the spring.

There are obvious logistic problems with this approach if it only does it while moving down the road ;)

Are the ends of the coil visibly seated where they should be? They typically "wind" to a stop molded into the spring seat

Lol and Yeah it seems to only happen while driving, I have tried to do it in idle and have got no results but I'll do a more in depth listen after work this evening. And yeah coils are definitely seated, I had spring bind badly before on both struts that's why I replaced them and this doesn't sound like that, I only ever get one big clunk. I will update after work.

I put the old strut in and no more clunk. Put the new one back in and clunk. They were ready struts so I sent it back for replacement.
