hatchet ... when was the last time made in England?

you saw something like this that was made in England.? found this ratty old machete laying in the grass on the edge of the road.. rusted to death, decided to clean it up and found this stamped in the blade..

Sheffield has been famous for making high quality knives and cutting implements of all types for centuries. It was nick named steel city.

No idea how old that is but if I had to guess I'd say it dates from the 2nd world war and was a military jungle knife.
I know, I've had knives that were marked as being made with Sheffield Steel, but this one gives off the impression that the whole thing was made in England.
Nowadays most machetes are from Pakistan or other 3rd world countries
