I hope to take a sample from a friends vehicle that has been running GTX and send it in for a UOA and if there is little wear it just might be a miracle oil....lol

HaHa! I knew that! Johnny advises people who have a car with severe mechnical issues to use Synpower, so the Valvoline oil can be blamed and be guilty by association. Sly guy!

Either would a be fine choice. I would choose Valvoline also, because I HATE the Catrol's television commercials. Both are extremely high quality oil, though.

Me too! I would punch that clowns lights out if he even attempted to swing a dipstick at me!

Castrol is good and I use it as well as Valvoline. IIRC, it has more moly than Valvoline.
I like that Valvoline give useful info on their website whereas Castrol is mostly just advertising.

Just see my sig., Castrol seems to be excellent oil also but yes there ads are annoying to say the least plus very little real info on castrols site, Valvoline has one heck of a product line, white bottle, durablend, maxlife, synpower+ HDEO and widely available

Fast, you have posted almost 1000 times in the last 9 months, you should know better than to ask a generic question like this and actually expect to get a concrete answer.
