Let me tell you, I was quite fed-up with the auto dept. of my local walmart after seeing their performance yesterday.
I go to drop off 3.5 gallons of oil and three filters. I park in front of the auto dept. door to the side (not marked, just no dashes) just because I figured I would run in, drop off at counter, and leave right away... Not the case, this old cranky women comes out yelling I can't park there and all this, so I tell her that I am just dropping off the oil and leaving right away. Then she doesn't seem to mind and we go inside. Next, she says I can't just drop it off and I have to sign paperwork for it (why?). So she begins to look for it... And look for it... Keeps looking... Goes on for ten minutes with the help of the three other people behind the counter. She then says rudely while we find it move your car.
Anyway, I move the car and go back inside. Wait another fifteen minutes because they call more people to find this "binder". So now, they have five morons trying to find a binder. Around twenty five minutes at least since I walked in, and they finally find the binder (right under cash register in the cabinet), where they DID look. Regardless, they let me sign it and I was on my way.
It was SO unorganized, and the way they treated other customers while I was there waiting was really disrespectful. Some lady had a flat and she asked nicely to the mechanic guy what was wrong. He goes and mumbles without eye contact that it was just a hole and he don't know (really rudely). She look kinda shocked how bad his answer really was, and more so how he said it. Uncalled for.
They are a complete joke at my wal-mart's at least. I called a few looking for a specific oil in the 5-gal container and they go "look" and forget about me on the phone, I call back and they tell me they have it. I drive out to find they lied to me...
They hire people who don't know how to simply walk over to see if they have a product available in THEIR department. It's a joke, really.
I would not want them working on my vehicle, ever. At least not in Cleveland...
Also, why did I have to sign paperwork for me dropping off the oil, with my address and name? Is there a point?
