These are very good minivans, despite the reviews and the reliability of them is on par with Japanese. They have their quirks and things to watch out for, just like any other vehicle. One thing that is affected early on in the rust belt is the rear AC. There is an expansion valve right behind the rear passenger wheel that is exposed to water, salt and debris spray from the tire. They can develop a leak as yearly as 3 years, so watch out for wetness and rust around that area. I believe it's about a $1k job at a mechanic. If it's fine, make sure to spray the valve with fluid film or the like at least before every winter. I would do it more often though.
Another one is the rear shocks develop an low speed clunking sound quite easily. I guess the suspension geometry has something to do with it. I fully loaded mine few times where the rear dropped almost to the bump stops including our 2.5k mile trip to CA and now I hear them and the van is just at 30k miles. The good news these are very cheap and easy to change.
Also, If you want a better/quieter ride quality, look at SXT, R/T or Town & Country models, as they have more insulation and better tuned suspension. The more basic models have a rougher and louder ride.
Also, also, coming from personal experience, if you plan to have children in both second and third raw seat, I suggest you get a two screen entertainment system. These can play different movies/games and at least in my case, are extremely helpful, because I don't like my children using tablets for long periods of time.
