Always sorry to hear of the loss of a beloved pet. I’ve buried many cats in life, it never gets easier, but I also cherish what they’ve brought in my life, and can only hope I brought them the same love they brought me.

So sorry to hear about your buddy, he is a beautiful boy. Really tough to do what you are doing, but the compassion you show means the most. Spend those final moments showing him that love. You gave him a great life and a warm home, remember him in all the good ways. Our pets are never far away, just on the other side of the rainbow bridge. Take care my friend.

I'm sure you gave Cooper the best life; good food, a nice place to live and a ton of love. For that he is a rich kitty!
Cooper is cancer free. He is up there running will all his buds including a few of mine.

Sorry to hear this. I just hate losing pets. It's the worst.

You are doing the right thing. It's always hard. You love them so much it just hurts to let go. They have a way of letting us know and it's important that we listen.

When I was younger and living at home, we had a cat that we kept alive a lot longer than we should have. The signs were there and kept telling us that he was ready. We didn't do a good job listening.

A few years ago , my cat showed a quick decline. Her kidneys were failing and she started having seizures. The vet said we could keep her alive a few more years with medication and giving her fluid IVs, but I knew that would be cruel. Her quality of life wasn't great so I made the humane decision.

I am so very sorry to hear this. I have been where you're at twice. Losing a cat is extremely painful. I love cats with every ounce of my soul. They are the absolute very best this world has to offer. Without cats, this world is not worth living in.

Unfortunately today is the day for our beloved Maine Coon Cooper. He has told us he is ready . Cooper is the last of our pets. We will miss him dearly. We'll miss the companionship, the laughter and joy he has given us these 12 yrs. He was the perfect cat and the perfect Maine Coon in every way. I can't begin to describe how intertwined he became in our daily routine. He was with us all the time. I'm just going to sit here with him for a couple of more hours in the very room we brought he and his brother as kittens.
