I have a small container of that Monk fruit in the kitchen and have not even tried it yet. I normally rather go unsweet with things than use those artificial sweeteners.Cold brew iced tea has been a thing for me for a few years. I use regular tea bags, 8-10 of them for a two quart pitcher. Since regular tea bags don't steep quickly like specialized "iced tea" or "cold brew" bags I let them steep for around 24 hours and then fish out the tea bags. I add 1/2 tsp of monkfruit/stevia liquid sweetener. I like it a little sweet, but not southern sweet tea sweet. I've tried a bunch of different types of tea and often use a couple different types of teas for experimental blends. Oolong and jasmine teas from local Asian markets make for interesting iced tea. The possibilities are endless!
For me, the benefit is that it's super easy, barely an inconvenience. (Ryan George reference)What is the benefit of a cold steep? I always did it hot, let cool then throw in the fridge.

I love tea, un-sweet. I'm going to have to try this cold steep method! To me heat makes the tea bitter which kills the taste for cold tea and what @DBMaster noted plus it's ready to go sooner.
I like the family size Lipton tooI found some "cold brew" Lipton Black Tea bags in Wal Mart yesterday. Used (2) of those family sized and one green tea with mint to seep in the fridge over last night. Got up this morning. I drained the tea, tossed the bags and warmed a cup and it was real good. Gonna drink it iced later on today. Glad the idea was brought up by Zee09. I had forgotten how good cold brew tea can be.
I had an issue with Luzianne with a perfume smell.... I quit using it because of thatI recommend Luzianne tea. It’s my favorite tea besides Milo’s. Community isn’t bad either.
